Educational Qualification & Experience
- Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in the relevant engineering discipline with First Class at the Bachelor’s or Master’s level, OR have both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in the relevant engineering subject.
- A minimum of 12 years of teaching / research / industry experience is required, including at least 2 years post-Ph.D. serving as Lecturer (Selection Grade-I).
- Alternatively, 15 years of experience is required for some departments, with at least 3 years of that experience as Lecturer (Selection Grade-II).
- Experience gained during the Ph.D. may be counted toward the required experience in applicable cases.
Age & Other Criteria
- The minimum age is 33 years as of the cutoff date (1 August 2025 or as specified).
- Candidates must also meet the requirement of first class grades at undergraduate or postgraduate levels.
